1.The Chief Minister Fellowship Program is an initiative of the Government of Rajasthan to bring fresh ideas and innovation into governance. It engages highly qualified and motivated youth as Fellows in government departments to work on policy research, project implementation, and service delivery improvement. Through this program, Fellows gain valuable insight into the functioning of the government while contributing their skills to make a real difference.

Age of the applicant should be between 25 years to 35 years as on 01-04-2025 (i.e. the candidate should not be born before 01.04.1990 and after 31.03.2000).

  • Candidates with Post Graduation degree in Arts/Science with 65% marks or more marks or CGPA of 7 on a scale of 10 from Universities/ Institutions
  • Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in professional course (Engineering, Medicine, Law, Agriculture) with 70% marks or more marks or CGPA of 7.5 on a scale of 10 from Universities/Institutions preferably within top 75 ranks as per NIRF.

Applications will be accepted online through the Rajasthan SSO portal when the application window opens. Detailed instructions will be provided in the official advertisement.

The selection is based on Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
  • Group Discussion (GD) – 100 Marks: Maximum 200 applicants are shortlisted for the next level i.e., Personal Interview.
  • Personal Interview (PI) – 100 Marks

20 Fellows will be selected and placed in the Chief Minister’s Office and other key departments.

Initially for one year, which can be extended by one more year in blocks of six months. The entire duration of CMFP will be terminated on 31.03.2029.

The Fellow will be paid Rs. 60,000/- per month as stipend and additional allowances of Rs. 5,000/- per month for connectivity, mobility support etc.

  • The Fellow has to undertake the work assigned to him/her by Mentor/Nodal officer.
  • Submit a Monthly Progress Report (MPR) to the Mentor/Nodal.
  • Submit a synopsis during the first quarterly review.
  • Submit the interim project report during the third quarterly review & final project report during the last quarterly review.
  • To present corrective suggestions through innovations in the flagship schemes of the Government and other programs of the Government.
  • To advise role in feasibility studies, project management, costing, accounting and also training and development.

Yes. The Fellows shall be eligible for 12 days leave in a calendar year. The leave is accrued on a completed month basis calculated from the date of joining on pro-rata basis. The un-availed leave in a year is not carried forward to the next year.

No. This is purely a fellowship program and does not guarantee or promise any form of employment, temporary or permanent.

No. The program does not provide travel allowances, daily allowances, medical insurance, or reimbursements.

Yes. If fellow successfully complete the Fellowship and submit a final report approved by your Mentor, you will be awarded a Fellowship Completion Certificate from the Government of Rajasthan.
