1.The Chief Minister Fellowship Program is an initiative of the Government of Rajasthan to bring fresh ideas and innovation into governance. It engages highly qualified and motivated youth as Fellows in government departments to work on policy research, project implementation, and service delivery improvement. Through this program, Fellows gain valuable insight into the functioning of the government while contributing their skills to make a real difference.
Age of the applicant should not be more than 28 years as on 01-01-2026 (i.e. the candidate should not be born before 01.01.1998).
- Candidates with Post Graduation degree with 65% marks or more marks or CGPA of 7 on a scale of 10 from Universities/ Institutions or Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in professional course (Engineering/ Medical/CA/CS/Law etc.).
Fellows will be selected from the various universities and academic institutions through Campus Placement.
The selection is based on Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
- The Program Implementation committee (PIC) shall decide the modality and process of campus selection.
- The fellows will be selected by considering the criteria such as Personality, Attitude, Communication Skills, subject knowledge and other strengths of the character.
The CMFP mandates for engagement of 50 Fellows to pursue fellowship in Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) or Department allotted by CMO.
Initially for one year, which can be extended by one more year in blocks of six months.
The Fellow will be paid Rs. 60,000/- per month as stipend and additional allowances of Rs. 5,000/- per month for connectivity, mobility support etc.
- The Fellow has to undertake the work assigned to him/her by CMO or ACS/Pr. Secretary/Secretary of concerned department in which fellow is deployed.
- Submit a Monthly Progress Report (MPR) to CMO/DES.
- All the Fellows must have their own Laptop and data card/internet facility.
- Any other objective as decided by the CMO or ACS/Pr. Secretary/Secretary of concerned department.
- Submit the final project report during the last quarter after incorporating all the suggestions and corrections
Yes. The Fellows shall be eligible for 12 days leave in a calendar year. The leave is accrued on a completed month basis calculated from the date of joining on pro-rata basis. The un-availed leave in a year is not carried forward to the next year.
No. This is purely a fellowship program and does not guarantee or promise any form of employment, temporary or permanent.
No. The program does not provide travel allowances, daily allowances, medical insurance, or reimbursements.
Yes. If fellow successfully complete the Fellowship and submit a final report approved by your Mentor, you will be awarded a Fellowship Completion Certificate from the Government of Rajasthan.
